Simon^3 Van Wickle(n) (Evert Jansz^2, Jentie^1 Jeppes) was born about 1700 in New Lots, Flatbush, L.I. and died about 1754
in Somerset County, NJ. He married Gerardina Kouwenhoven 25 Nov 1722. She was born 1705 in Brooklyn, bap. 7 Aug 1705
in the Brooklyn Dutch Church and died after 1754. Simon^3 made his will 14 August 1753 and it was proved 3 January 1755 in
Somerset County, NJ where he was a yeoman. The will mentions his wife and children Evert, Nicholas, Anne, Mary, Dinah,
Elsee, Mattje, and Seytje. Simon^3’s house, a typical one and a half story Dutch farmhouse, still stands and is open to the
public (The Van Wickle house, 1289 Easton Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873). Pictures of it may be seen on

Sietje^4 Van Wickle(n) was b. abt 1732 in Somerset, NJ and d. after December
1775. Antje^4 Van Wickle(n) was born abt. 1734 in Somerset, NJ and d. after 1805.
Maria^4 (Mary) Van Wickle(n) was b. abt 1736 in Somerset, NJ and d. bet. 1753-1757.
Dina^4 Van Wickle(n) was b. abt 1738 in Somerset, NJ and died aft. April 1789.

Yeoman, will of. Wife, Dinah. Children--Evert, Nicholas, Anne, Mary, Dihan, Elsee, Mattje, and Seytje. Homefarm on Raritan
River; a lot of 31 acres over the river and on the Northside of the Raritan Road, bought of son-in-law, Joseph Mount; 10 acres
of meadow.
Personal estate, incl. negroes and plate. Executors--the two sons. Witnesses--Dirrik
Rappaljee, Cornelus Sebring, Barnardus Lagrange, Proved 3 January 1755.
